Commencement Ceremony 2020

Given recent developments with regard to COVID-19 and the fluid, unpredictable nature of the pandemic, we have to cancel this year’s commencement ceremony on May 9. Your health and well-being remain our highest priorities.

We are saddened to make this decision, as it represents the high point of our academic year, a moment to acknowledge your achievements, and to celebrate them with your families and friends. Rest assured, we recognize those achievements and would like to offer a full refund for tickets to all of you who have registered for this year’s ceremony. You will receive a refund for your commencement ceremony package (95 Euros for undergraduate and 120 Euros for graduate students ) and all additional tickets you already paid for. You will be refunded in full via bank transfer within the next seven working days. If you have any questions, please contact Please note that this does not affect the graduation fee of 100 Euros, which covers traditional administrative fees including diplomas.

We would also like to take this opportunity to extend to you two free tickets to next year’s ceremony, which will take place on May 15, 2021 at the Hofburg, where we would like to welcome you on stage.

Importantly, the cancellation of the ceremony will not affect your graduation status or formal issuance of credentials. Those of you who complete all the requirements will receive their diplomas and transcripts in full and on time.

We hope that you continue to stay healthy and focused on completing your studies. Now more than ever, the careful attention of your reasoned mind is your, and our, most valued asset.
